It’s never too early to start planning for the next school year. Below are PDFs of the 2026-27 CCS school supplies lists. (Note: With 5th grade moving back to the elementaries, and based on teacher feedback, we’ve created grade-specific lists for K-5)

Sign Up For Free School Supplies!

Charlottesville City Schools offers free school supplies for families in need, with pickup during summer open houses.

We’re excited to announce that we’re able to provide backpacks and school supplies for students in need for another year!

Forms are now open for families to request assistance with school supplies (one form per student). Supplies will then be waiting for your student when they arrive at their school’s open house or meet-and-greet for the new school year.
